Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Meal: breakfast

After arrival at Leh Airport at an altitude of 10,680ft, you would be transferred to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel. Today youwillspend most of your time in your hotel and surroundings for better acclimatization. Asyou are coming to high altitude dry area from lower region, your body needs tobe acclimatized properly to avoid health issues. This way, if you want, you can exploretheLeh town close to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 2: Leh – Lamayuru- Uleytokpo

Meal: breakfast and dinner

After breakfast, drivedown the Indus valley on a tour of the Lamayuru circuit, famous for the dramaticallylocated ancient Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. Aftersightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check-inat a fixed camp / resort for overnight stay.

Day 3: Uleytokpo – Alchi-Sangam-Mangnetic Hills - Leh

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today after breakfast, drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Hill Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) &Hall ofFame, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel in Leh.

Day 4: Leh - Khandrungla Top - Nubra Valley

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today after an early breakfast you would be driven to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardung-la-pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft. Nubra Valleyispopularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the northof Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive at Hunder&check in at Hotel/Camps. Later visit Diskit Village & enjoy the Camel ride on sanddunes. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Camp.

Day 5: Hunder-Turtuk

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today after breakfast, you will be driven to Turtuk. The name Turtuk is an Turkishwordwhich was exposed by two Turkish namely “Chuli and Yangdrung” who wandered andcameto this place and settled here. Today their generations ably back here as so-calledraceof chulipa and yangdrungpa in turtuk. Turtuk Ladakh, being the mainstreamof balti culture of baltistan lies on the historic trade routes between skardu, Yarkand “EastTurkistan aka xijian”, leh and Srinagar are restored the line of control had bisectedtheHimalayan silk route. After visiting Turtuk, we shall come back to Hunder for night stay.

Day 6: Sumur - Panamik - Leh

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today early morning we shall go to Sumur, Samastaling gompa and hot water springsofPanamik and then move to Leh after following the same route via Khardung-la. Checkinat Hotel upon arrival.

Day 7: Leh - Pangong Lake

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east totheLehafter crossing Changla Pass (17500ft) and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villagesintheChangthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia whichchanges its color 4 – 5 times a day. At evening enjoy the breathtaking view of PangongLake. Overnight at the Camp at Pangong Lake.

Day 08: Leh – Tso Moriri

Meal: breakfast and dinner

After Breakfast, you would be drivento beautiful Tso Moriri Lake via Chumathang and Mahe Bridge. Situated at an altitudeof4,522 meters, the lake is 19km long, 3km wide and has maximum depth of 105m. The lakeisa Ramsar wetland, a home to dozens of species of migratory words. Visit Korzok monastery on top of village and have walk along the bank of the lake. Overnight inSwiss camps/guest house at Korzok village.

Day 9: Leh - Tso Moriri

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today after breakfast check out ofthe Camp and proceed towards Leh enroute Mahe Bridge and Chumathang hot watersprings. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh Hotel.

Day 10: Leh

Meal: breakfast and dinner

Today full day at leisure/shopping. Dinner andovernight in Leh hotel.

Day 11: Airport Drop

Meal: breakfast

After breakfast, you would be driven toLehairport to catch your flight bach home according to your convenience. Your memorable tour to the land of Buddha concludes here.
